Underwriting Assistant - St. Petersburg, FL Office
LIG Marine Managers is the leading Wholesaler/MGA for WC/Longshore Insurance in the USA. We are seeking a self motivated employee, with strong attention to detail, to assist our Underwriting Team with preparing and placing new & renewal Commercial Marine accounts.
We are looking for a minimum of 2 years experience in Commercial Lines Insurance (including Workers Compensation). The successful candidate will be adaptable, demonstrate good communication, prioritization & computer skills- proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), working well both independently and as part of the team and adapts easily to change.
We are located in Downtown St. Petersburg and our office hours are 9-5 daily. The position is full time and the successful applicant will be eligible for company paid medical insurance, 401K plan, dental and bonus plans subject to the company standard waiting periods and eligibility requirements.
The salary will be commensurate with experience & responsibility.
